The Events Committee oversees most events with a particular focus on those events that provide business relationship-building opportunities. The committee primarily oversees the monthly chamber breakfast. Their goal is to ensure high value to members, high energy at the event, and high attendance to ensure networking opportunities for Chamber members.

AMBASSADORS

Date: 1st Wednesday of Each Month

Time: 8:30am – 9:30am

The Ambassadors are the “Face of the Chamber” and serve as the key relationship builders among Chamber members. Ambassadors contact all new members and take them on a “tour” to ensure they attend our monthly Chamber events. Ambassadors host the monthly After-Hours Mixer. and the Big Q Lunch & Learn. They assist new members to learn about the programs and experience immediate value from their membership.

Marketing & Communications

Date: 4th Thursday of each month

Time: 9:00am-10:00am

Chamber Board Liaison: Jim Behrens

The Marketing & Communications Committee is responsible for increasing brand awareness, reviewing marketing priorities, recommending leveraging opportunities, and solving marketing challenges for the MCOC. It provides input and assistance with marketing tasks for the MCOC through all available marketing methods. The M&C Committee also creates and implements learning opportunities for MCOC members focused on B2B and B2C marketing strategies/ best practices.
